we are

My mission for ASLMatters, is to become the bridge between the hearing and deaf world.To create a utopia where two worlds can co-exist and understand  each other. ASL is the third most used language in the world. Studies show that 75% of deaf children who are born into the hearing family do not acquire  to become fluent in ASL, or show any interests to acquire knowledge of American Sign Language to communicate with their deaf child(ren) even though 90-95% of deaf children born in the United States are deprived from their own native language.My mission at ASLMatters, is to continue to spread awareness and educate hearing people to assist deaf children to thrive with ASL.
